It's not just at work, school and in social situations.
There's a predisposition to some forms of communication. Wether that reason be social or personal those words are being expressed...
Or maybe I am looking for a response. And through trial and error I fish for certain responses with certain words of action.
Assumedly this means that my brain is subconsciously weeding out certain word patterns and conversation queues. A Darwinian method of filing vocabulary to the back of my brain. It's there but not present. A wall flower on the dance floor even though that word or phrase might be rational or more appropriate for the situation.
If I think about it like that, the relatively drastic changes in English don't seem so strange.
Either way it's an interesting thought experiment. And it's interesting to see how different regions and trials shape the way people choose their words. And the internet either catapults this development or diverts it by becoming a part of the massive data diaspora.
I feel like I'm drowning in words that I don't need. And expressing them here doesn't do myself any justice, so don't look for any specific examples.
Maybe all I need is a change of font, a change of scenery.
Yeah, distract one sense with another. Or enhance the evolution with regression of something that's evolving. Is that improvement? Or stagnation?
Time to be a bit more collective. Sleep will probably take care of that. Garbage collecting is such a tedious task.
